I always had a feeling that Google should be the one to make an Android gaming system. Not only because they own Android also because they know about Android better than anyone and they can use that knowledge to tweak the system to work better. Finally, they are going to do just that.

According to Wall Street Journal, “Google is developing a videogame console and wristwatch powered by its Android operating system”. Sure, the news about the smartwatch is cool. But I’m most excited about the other thing. Google has declined to comment on these rumors, for now. However, this report says that Google is most likely to unveil this gaming console, alongside an upgraded Nexus Q and will launch at least one of them in this Fall.

OUYA $99 Android console doesn’t have great features or premium quality hardware. But, it did managed to make big success by selling out all consoles within just few hours after launch on Amazon, according to CNN. Google has been keeping track on these new Android gaming consoles. And this will be their response.
