The late Chris Cornell’s daughter, Toni honored her dad and his close friend the late Chester Bennington by singing ‘Hallelujah’ on Good Morning America.
“It’s an honor to perform this for my dad and Chester and to sing for them,” Toni said, according to ABC News.
The crowd began to cry as 12 year old Toni began to sing ‘Hallelujah’ . The emotional tribute comes less than three months after Toni lost her dad, and just weeks after Bennington died.
Cornell was found dead on May 18 in his Detroit hotel room from suicide, and his friend Chester Bennington was found dead in an apparent suicide in his California home on Cornell’s 53rd birthday.
