top / pants / necklace & necklace {similar} / shoesWeekends are when I conduct my fashion experiments. Many times they blow-up in my face, but occasionally they work. This outfit is my latest concoction, comprised of three major parts:
- On Monday's Gossip Girl episode, I loved Serena's stacked rhinestone necklaces. Call it inspiration, or call it highway robbery, I've been piling on the bling {three necklaces in this particular look} ever since.
- I've been dying to wear my new Shoemint Jolly wedge booties. So cute, and so comfy.
- The vest. Years ago I found this deep green, velvet vest in the clearance section of Old Navy. I remember the exact moment I spotted it, I was completely dumbfounded that something that appeared to be so luxurious could be found at ON, on clearance nonetheless! To this day, it's my favorite between-season shopping wardrobe staple. It's heavy enough to keep me from freezing, but doesn't weigh me down.
