Walsall Legend Released?

Rumours are circulating that Walsall Football Club have released record appearance holder Jimmy Walker from his Player/Coach contract, just five months into his new deal.
'Wacka' returned to The Banks's Stadium in 2010 following six years elsewhere, he then went on to break Colin Harrison's all time appearance record in January 2012.
At the beginning of this season Jimmy agreed to a new one year player/coach deal following a summer of negotiations, but after only a few months it seems both sides have agreed to part ways following a disagreement between Walker and Saddlers manager Dean Smith.
Walker has yet to make an appearance for the first-team this season.
Nothing has been confirmed at the moment.
