The common microwave has now been redesigned by Kingston University graduate Jake Rich. The designer has added wheels, a domed removable lid and a light that changes intensity with power.
Instead of the familiar metal box with a door, this Mediumwave that prioritizes the relationship we have with the microwave – both in terms of how its used and how we live with it… the new design makes it easier to monitor and stir food as it’s being heated and no longer is the microwave obliged to stick to just one spot in the kitchen…
