London Walks guide Shaughan writes…
I very much enjoyed reading the walking news
item, as reported in The Daily Constitutional's London Spy feature Saturday
last. (Click HERE to catch up with the story.)
Regular readers will remember the story, which featured a report that claims if we walk for an hour every day we add 14 more days to our
lives.
Having had a quick rattle at the abacus, I've
calculated that, as a London Walks guide I will die aged 575.
Just thought you'd like to know.
The Editor replies: Thank you Shaughan. This
would be as good a time as any to plug your forthcoming walking tour Olympic 500: Half A Millennium of London Since
The 2012 Olympics which meets by the Simon Cowell Memorial London Teleporter (formerly Norwich Train Station) at 1400 on the 27th July 2512. There's
no need to book. Cost of the walk is 10 Murdochs. Free hover car parking is available.
For something a little closer to the here and now, Shaughan is leading the Ghosts of the Old City walk this Saturday night at 7:30p.m meeting at St Paul's Station. Here he is in action…
