Glasgow City Council seeks votes for Curry Capital of Britain 2015

Glasgow needs your votes! It’s time to vote for your favorite curry restaurant in Glasgow and help the city win the Curry Capital of Britain competition for the fifth year.

Glasgow won in 2002, 2003, 2006 and 2010  and was runner up in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2011, 2012 and 2013.  Previous winning restaurants include Mother India restaurant and café; KoolBa; Mister Singhs, Ashoka Southside and Neelim.

Glasgow needs four restaurants which will form part of the council’s bid to win the title, which also includes a bid document from the council.

The four restaurants will also be asked to organize a charity night with money raised going to the Lord Provost’s Malawi Fund, which we are big supporters of.

You have until Friday 14 August 2015 to nominate your favorite curry restaurant.

About the Curry Capital of Britain

The Curry Capital of Britain competition is organised and run by Peter Grove, founder of the Curry Tree Charitable Trust.
The winning city will be announced on Sunday 18 October 2015.
