This season, the hair look and texture was about being desert-dry and undone. Worn by the dust and sand, thick from moisture-less air, this uneven hair texture has a nod to 70s cool and notes from a South Asian traveler. “This style is matt and undone with a bit of volume. My inspirations are from roguish character, its surf hair, but tougher.” Mark Hampton.

Heading into summertime, hair is going to be soft, raw and natural. The 70s are coming back big time, and the cuts will be cool but scruffy.
Milan is a hotbed of fashion for menswear, what are the places that you’ll be visiting whilst you’re there?
10 Corso Como is an amazing luxury fashion store, a great place to look around for its cool layout and café. My favorite gallery is Hanga Bicocca, which is a huge contemporary gallery just outside the city center.
As well as fashion, Milan is also famous for its football team, AC Milan, What’s your football team? Do you play?
Manchester United has been my team since I was 7. Being Welsh there aren’t so many aspiring Welsh players, but Ryan Giggs lead me to follow United!
My personal skills aren’t so deft. Once I was shooting with Arsenal player Thomas Vermalen and photographer Sharif Hamza, before they had even arrived I had fallen over in a kick about with my assistant and snapped both sets of ligaments, ouch!
There are some great football hairstyles too; AC Milan play El Shaarawy’s cut is incredible!
