Visage, Study - II
I start to enjoy charcoal and to use it more loosely. The point of the exercise is : try to get the structure right! once I get there, I don't pay too much attention to get an exact like for like portrait... I just let the drawing go, until I think it expresses something which is close to the feeling I get from observation.

Yesterday, very nice light - bright enough in the studio to have a good session with oil painting. I could advance on a little still life, where I play in blue, gray and pink. This color association is not usual for me. I advance slowly, but I start to enjoy where I go.
Hopefully, I'll finish it in the next couple of weeks, if time - and Light!! - allows.
