Virgin Media Problems

I have had problems recently that are starting to get annoying and I am possibly even looking at switching providers,
we upgraded our virgin media connection a few months ago and we have had connection problems since.
when the new shiny "super hub" arrived we were promised perfect wireless throughout the house and it would be more secure than any other signal.
virgin media lied, the wireless would not even work in the same room and the netbook was sat 1metre away from it, so I had to plug the old router back in to get wireless, once it was working I decided to get a friend to hack in to the wireless to check how secure it real was and it only took 5 minutes and he had got in to the system, very secure I think not...
For the past few weeks I have had so many problems with the company and there connection I just can't be bothered anymore...
The service from virgin media is just a joke you can't get a connection 9 times out of 10 and when you can get a connection it dips out and you end up having to reset the hub to get any connection at all...
My advice to anybody is to not go with virgin media for internet connection as you will have problems all the time...
