There are an infinite set of numbers between 0 and 1 – .1, .11, .12… Hazel and Augustus spent an eternity together within a small infinity. They fell in love slowly and departed from one another quickly like the sting that comes from ripping off a bandaid. While the book seemed to focus more on the unfairness of this story, the movie zoned in on the love story.
