Kristin Bauer van Straten is awesome and not just for her role as vampire Pamela Swynford De Beaufort on True Blood. In fact when she’s not busy acting, Kristin is usually helping those nearest and dearest to her heart, the animals. That is why we opted to give Kristin the best birthday gift ever, by helping her help dogs and cats at the Amanda Foundation. To illustrate how much this fundraiser’s success would mean to Kristin, one of the participating sites Kristin Bauer Fans created a very cool looking video promo which not only gives all the details of the fundraiser, but also just how involved Kristin has been in trying to help those furry creatures who are less fortunate find loving homes.
