So I had this idea about three weeks ago to keep a weekly video diary of life as a student in London. Today I finally got around to recording the first one which covers the first three and a half weeks of university and a week of living in London. To me video is brand new, yes I have recorded and made me own video but to actually sit and talk in front of the camera. It is a little scary and the full reason it has taken so long to make is because I waited until no one else was around, then sat in front of the camera for 10 minutes before I knew what to say. I have left it all pretty unedited because I watched a video the other day of someone talking at the camera with obvious breaks in each clip – I didn’t want mine to look like that.
This is my first ever video blog. I talk about life as a student, in London and make a lot of faces at the camera as I do so.
I am currently studying a BA in Primary Education at Roehampton University

Pack Your Passport: On Running Away – Every word in this post rung true with me even though I’m just setting up my life here in London I have never felt that pull of ‘I want to live here’ like I have with other places. Even Amsterdam which I visited on a whirlwind trip a few weekends back.
Huffington Post by Lee Tobin: How to Live in London on Minimum Wage (and still be happy) – This post really puts in to perspective the sacrifices you have to make when you live in London to be able to afford to travel. The opening paragraph made me giggle on the inside because I own four pieces of make up because of that exact reason.
