Jeremy Pound, the deputy editor of the BBC Music Magazine attended the Verbier recital and wrote a few words:
"...my final Verbier outing is to hear Angela Gheorghiu in recital with guitarist Milos Karadaglic at the Eglise (below). As well a couple of Dowland songs to start us off, they treat the audience to songs from Spain and South America and from their own countries of Romania and Montenegro, plus the Habanera from Bizet’s Carmen. Appearing on stage for the first time together, they make a flirtatious, fun and extremely charming pair, and she is evidently having a whale of a time, as are we in the audience"
