The lesser-known South Korean phone maker, Pantech has unveiled a new Android phablet “Vega Secret Up” that comes with a huge fingerprint scanner on the back. This is a slightly smaller and low-specs version of the company’s recently released Vega Secret Note, which also included a fingerprint reader with 5.9 inch full 1080p HD display and 3GB of RAM.

In addition to that big sensor, the oddly-named Vega Secret Up sports a 5.6-inch display, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage.  According to UberGizmo, this device is currently only available in Korea for 900,000 won ( ~ $840). And there’s no sign of an international release.

Not sure what exactly this fingerprint sensor is capable of doing, but from the looks of the device it should offer the same kind of capabilities of Vega Secret Note. Check out the video for a closer look.
