Well, I’ve went to Watsons and got myself the Velvet Rose Fragrance and Essential oils Veet Hair Removal cream!

Basically, this Hair Removal Cream is supposed to help leave your skin hairless, smooth and moisturized. This particular one is good for people with Normal Skin.

I might have used the Cream quite a bit before I took this picture

In the box, contains 100ml Veet Hair removal Cream and 1 Perfect Touch Spatula

Here’s a close up and more detailed picture of the spatula

As seen from the above GIF this product requires you to squeeze the cream out like a toothpaste. When I first squeezed the cream out, there’s a scent of hair chemical (Hair salon chemical smell?) hit my nose.

Today my goal is to achieve Smooth and Silky legs! So let”s do this!

Step 1 is to Squeeze the cream on the spatula (the above amount is for demonstration purposes only. I use a lot more then that for the whole legs)

Step 2 is to Spread the Cream on your applied area as evenly as possible (easier said then done)

Step 3 is to wait between 3 - 6 minutes before using the tip of the spatula to scrape the cream off (you don’t want to put the cream on for too long to refrain from chemical burn)

Do note: You want to scrap the cream off BEFORE washing your legs for the cream is soluble AKA it will clog up your drain if you wash the whole thing down.

Step 4 is to rinse your legs in circular motion to allow the loose hair to come off

That’s pretty much it for the directions!

Do note:

  • Don’t use on moles scars or broken skin (if you do apply of a new form blood clot, the cream will remove it and leave the blood and skin exposed but the cream won’t go into the wound if you don’t reapply it)
  • Do not shave at least 2 day before using
  • Wait 2 days between application
  • Wait 1 day before using any make-up or perfumed products
  • Test your skin reaction before using
  • Read the direction CAREFULLY as this is a chemical hair removal cream

When applied, there’s a cool and slight tingling sensation on my legs.

After waiting for 5 minutes, I scrape the cream off and the unwanted hairs gone! Like magic! If you find some hair still there, just take a wet tissue (literally wet the tissue) and rub the affected area in circles for the hair to come off.

If some hair still persists, shave them away or pluck them (plucking when it’s wet won’t hurt as much)

Since this is pretty much chemical, I don’t advise you to use a second a time immediately after you use the first time. Please wait 2 days to prevent any skin irritation or chemical burn.

For people who have never remove any hair on their legs before, I would recommend this for it can really help remove long (for legs) unwanted hair quite easily and the after results are quite clean (that’s for my experience).

Applying the cream evenly is an important point I would like to emphasis on. That really does determine if you have to shave/pluck afterwards or just start molesting your silky smooth legs.

What I really love about this is that it helps make my legs very moisturize and baby smooth (It’s normal to find my admiring my slightly shiny legs after I just remove the unwanted hairs)

Stubble will only start to grow after 2 days. (Means you have 2 days to touch your baby smooth legs!)

I would not advice you to use this on your bikini line or your armpit area for you don’t really want chemical to get in your bikini line do you? and for the armpit, I find that, that area generally tends to make me have a stubble shave (there will be stubble left over) instead of a clean shave.

Overall, I would give the Veet Velvet rose fragrance and essential oil hair removal cream 4 IreviewUread Smiles for Iove how it make my legs silky smooth and moisturize afterwards. However, I don’t really fancy the smell and the importance of applying evenly for all the hairs to be remove is a little too important for me.
