Valentines day is a week away.. I can't believe it! I swear it was only Christmas last week.. time goes fast when you're having fun :)
Speaking of fun, I thought I'd share our Valentines plans with you. On Thursday we received this little valentines package from Asda.
Asda are always great for affordable, seasonal things. How cute is the little bumble bee? Sienna has already taken him under her wing ;) I devoured most of the chocolate products right after we had this delivered so I can highly recommend all of them ;) Sienna and Warren ate the crumpets Friday morning for breakfast, it was Sienna's first time trying them and they got a big thumbs up!
We are quite lucky with the fact that Sienna goes to bed around 6:30-7 and sleeps the whole night so we can have a nice meal in rather than going out... It always feels like she isn't here anyway! haha! I was thinking of having a nice quiet night in and cooking a 3 course meal (complete with Rosé of course) and then watching a movie on the sofa!
We will most likely have a nice bit of Steak for main with sweet potato chips but I'm not sure on starters of dessert. Maybe some prawn skewers or bacon wrapped asparagus with BBQ sauce to start and then these chocolate brownies with vanilla coconut yogurt for dessert. Yum! I have made these brownies previously but I left them in the oven a bit too long so they weren't the best. I can't wait to give them another go as the flavor was delicious!
We don't normally buy each other Valentines gifts as there's never anything we really want and theres no point wasting money, we'd much rather use the money we would have spent on our meal and movie! I have got some new underwear though.. I think Valentines day is the only time us mum's buy new underwear isn't it?! haha! This matching set is from Large Cup Lingerie. I always have trouble finding my size in regular stores as I'm a DD cup size but a small back size, so always order offline. This fits really nicely and is so gorgeous! I love it.
