Valentina Pink By Valentino
Heyyyy!!!
If you haven't prior knowledge of my obsession with exotic scents, well here it is. When did this healthy relationship begin? I'm not quite sure but for as long as I can remember I've had an insane love for pretty and sensational scents, both those I can afford and those that someday I could afford on my own...without having to steal those that belong to my parents.

This Valentino perfume was amongst the gifts I received for Valentine’s Day and it is called Valentina Pink which if you ask me was befitting of the occasion in question. Made by perfumers, Daphne Bugey and Fabrice Pellegrin, this scent was launched in March of 2015 as part of the “Valentina Collection” and is apparently a limited edition perfume.

This fragrance is an EDP Spray (Eau de Parfum Spray) and is the definition of femininity in the pretty pink bottle with the encrusted floral decoration. It comes in a smaller 50ml bottle but I was gifted the 80ml (2.7 fl.oz.) bottle and I can honestly say that I’m quite in love with the packaging of this perfume. I’m not exactly sweet on the color ‘pink’ but this particular pink I can live with, just because the fragrance itself makes it look good.
My first impression of this perfume is “sugary, fruity and floral” which I know sounds really weird when you put it all together. However at first contact, you notice the fruity hints of strawberry, flowery essence and sugary notes. Personally, I really do appreciate the play between notes in this fragrance but it can be quite an overpowering strawberry scent at first which usually settles down to a more feminine yet naughty and energetic scent that lasts for a little while. This is one of those fragrances you wear when you want to get noticed with its distinctive modern twist while being utterly feminine.
However, as it is with all perfumes I’ve tried out; I don’t take notice of it after wearing the same one for two days consecutively. I do not like aggressive scents and I personally do not like to wear a perfume that will constantly be in my nose making me nauseated because if that is happening to me, I can only imagine just how badly it might be harassing the next person…and not in a good way. Because of this, I can’t quite say if this perfume lasts all day but it stays on for an ideal couple of hours and you could always just spray some more on-assuming you are the kind of person who likes to smell herself.
I would give this fragrance a 7.5 out of a 10 mostly for the nice blend of fruity and sweet because c’mon, who doesn’t love to smell yummy. I really do hope the week started out great and I also hope I'm not the only one looking forward to Easter and the impending holidays *insert toothy grin*
Anyhoo, I'll see you guys on the next one and until that time,
Hugs & Sugar,
Ify*
