Using Acupuncture Points for Anxiety Relief

Acupuncture points that can be used to treat anxiety disorders and panic attacks.

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese healing method that involves putting pressure using the fingers or the hand on certain points of the body. Acupuncture can relieve anxiety and nervousness because it increases blood circulation throughout the body and has a general relaxing effect on muscles and also the mind.

When you release physical tension, you calm the mind; and when your mind is calm, you will gain a new perspective on the problems underlying your anxious feelings or phobias.

Focusing on these points can help you get better quicker. You don’t have to use all of these points. Using just one or two of these whenever you have a free hand could be effective.

We have listed below, most of the widely used acupuncture points to treat anxiety, fear, agitation and panic, however there’s also a separate section for the most widely used acupuncture points for treating panic attacks further down the page.
