Using Accessories to Create a Celebrity Look on Your Wedding Day

By Weddingblog2011

Want to look like a celebrity as you walk down the aisle? Here are a few ways that you can use your accessories to pull it off.

Using accessories to create a celebrity look on your wedding day can make you look like a vision of beauty with a little bit of fun flair. You can easily pull this off and look like you are supposed to be on the red carpet, without spending a fortune.

Be Bold!

The new rule of thumb for the stars and brides this season is to be bold! Abandon dainty and subtle and instead stand out as you walk down the aisle. Keep this in mind when using accessories to create a celebrity look on your wedding day.

Jewelry

Using accessories to create a celebrity look at your wedding starts with your jewelry. Cuff bracelets, cocktail rings, big earrings, and chunky necklaces have all been featured on the red carpet this season. Eva Mendes wore a turquoise and diamond Cleef & Arpels necklace at the Golden Globes, and Leona Lewis and Kim Kardashian sported some beautiful cocktail rings at the Grammys.

Shoes

When it comes to footwear, step out of traditional white and beige wedding shoes and follow the trend of the stars with lots of color! More and more stars are stepping up their style by incorporating a bright color palette into their shoe choices. Kate Hudson chose some beautiful turquoise Giuseppe Zanotti two-tone pumps as she strutted around at the People’s Choice Awards, and Evan Rachel Wood wore a brilliant contrast of color at the SAG Awards with a teal Monique Lhuillier gown and Sergio Rossi shoes in bright purple.

Clutches

Clutches are absolutely chic this season. Matching your dress and clutch is completely out, but stand-out clutches are totally in. Drew Barrymore opted for a red Roger Vivier clutch with a sky blue gown at the Golden Globes, and Sandra Bullock opted for a turquoise Alexandra Knight clutch to create a contrast with her pink pale dress at the Globes. Using your accessories to create a celebrity look at your wedding is easier than you think– just don’t forget to step out of the traditional style realm!
