Updated Skincare Routine

By Lollicious @lollicious
Pregnancy has seen my skin go crazy, I've had hormonal breakouts on my chin and drier than normal skin. I tried to use some simpler skin care to perhaps ease the irritation but this did nothing and lead to some major skin frustrations. Lately I have upped the ante with the following products and my skin is thanking me (finally). Have you had a major life change and a subsequent skin blowout?
Cleansing and exfoliating. This has been taken to the next level with the following products which I alternate
Updated Skincare Routine The Body Shops Vitamin C Microderabrasion. I use this twice a week at the moment, You only need the tiniest amount and I use it in the shower and gently rub in a circular motion over my entire face
Lush Australia Coalface Cleanser, this coal based cleanser is amazing for drying out skin that's a little oily and acne affected. You must moisturize after or you will be a dry mess but this product is wonderful.
Moisturizers and serums
The Body shops Vitamin C Serum, this product helps to brighten skin tone and to help heal and fade scarring. After all the breakouts I have had I have lots of light pink scaring and this product helps to brighten the skin and fade those pesky pink scars. Im using this on top of my moisturizer on the areas of my face that are scared and irritated.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Plus, this is a wonderful product. It has a light smell and is light in texture it moisturizes and helps to fade breakouts, heal skin and keep acne at bay. I love this product. Im currently using this morning and night to help heal my skin and I cant tell you how much my skin tone has improved since using this product, it is worth the hype.
I've also added these two products to my routine but its too early to see an effect yet..
Hydraluron 30.0 mlHydraluron, to help hydrate skin
Retinol Reface 30.0 ml Retinol reface, to help with pesky wrinkles
Any recommendations on how to fade scaring and help heal skin?? x
