Hi all! Sorry I've been MIA the past few weeks, I've been in a bit of a blogging rut and wasn't sure what to write about and have decided to begin a skin care series!
I've been really getting into face masks recently (and by recently I mean literally like a week ago) because I've been using the most amazing cleanser that makes my skin look so healthy and glow-y and it's inspired me to really get into my skin care (not that I wasn't before but you get what I'm saying, right?). Since this cleanser, the Lancome Creme Radiance Cream to Foam Cleanser--which I'll have a review on in my next post-- has been making my skin look so healthy it's inspired me to really purify and detox my skin with face masks. I've always used face masks here and there but I've never really used them as a regular part of my skin care routine but they are a great way to keep your skin clear and help draw out toxins that can cause early signs of aging.
Over the week I've picked up a few face masks to try out and decided to create a small series of reviews on them because testing out these face masks is going to take a few weeks since I'll need to give my skin a break between trying out masks.
Okay so after that waayy too long of an introduction...onto the haul!
My mom very sweetly surprised me with a trip to ULTA today to get a Clarisonic Mia 2 and some other skin care goodies. I ended up getting this really cute hot pink Clarisonic that is a limited edition color for the Mia 2. I'm so excited to try this out and can't wait to write a review for you all in a few weeks!
Two Recently Discovered Brands:
Formula 10.0.6 and Freeman
While looking up face masks I kept seeing this Freeman brand come up, they offer really inexpensive face masks($3.99) and come in a variety of different formulas to choose from. I have two from this brand: the dead sea one pictured above and a pineapple one from another haul. The pineapple one will be in my first review along with a mask I got from The Body Shop.Another new brand I've discovered that I'm really excited about is Formula 10.0.6--I picked up a cleanser(hoping to find a good alternative to the more expensive Lancome one!), a mud mask, and their face wipes.
I absolutely love the packaging on their products and can't wait to try out this brand!
