UK Wedding Magazines: The Review: Your Manchester Wedding

By Claire

Another regional wedding magazine is Your [insert county here!] Wedding. County wedding magazines cover most of the country so this was a great title to include in the review representing regional wedding magazines. My local one is Your Manchester Wedding, but if you’re in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Bristol, Somerset, Essex, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Kent, London, South Wales, Surrey, Sussex or the West Midlands you can get this one where you live too.

UK Wedding Magazines: The Review: Your Manchester Wedding

This is a nicely balanced wedding magazine, with fewer pages than most but with as many articles and advice pages as most of the best national wedding magazines.

Articles included a royal wedding feature which had ideas for grooms as well as wannabe Kate Middletons – and in general I found Your Manchester Wedding magazine was refreshingly open to the concept of men being involved in weddings.

Articles were different and interesting: a bride’s personal shopping experience made entertaining reading, as did the worst case scenarios feature (although it was a bit scary) and ‘Into the Dragon’s Den’ – about getting to know / grips with your new mother-in-law.

Another wedding magazine with the consideration to use page numbers on most of the pages, I was impressed with Your Manchester Wedding. It has fewer pages than most, but it is worth reading, and you’re only missing adverts!
