Uber is evolving the way the world moves. By seamlessly connecting riders to drivers through the apps, making cities more accessible, opening up more possibilities for riders and more business for drivers. From the uber founding in 2009 to their launches in over 70 cities today, Uber’s rapidly expanding global presence continues to bring people and their cities closer.

Uber’s pricing is similar to metered taxis, although all hiring and payment is handled exclusively through Uber and not with the driver personally. If the Uber car is traveling at a speed greater than 11 mph (18 km/h), the price is calculated on a distance basis. Otherwise, the price is calculated on a time basis. At the end of a ride, the complete fare (which does not include a tip – Uber’s exact wording is “No Need to Tip” and no option to add a tip exists except to offer it by cash) is automatically billed to the customer’s credit card.Uber has said its high prices are the premium that the customers pay for a cab service that is not only reliable, but also punctual and comfortable.
