Spending time in the train, and doodling… I think this was a sight coming from Paris up the North of France coast. No place in particular, but just the sunset over hills, woods, a village, a road with a couple of trees. I found a sketch in my drawing book and thought this was a good opportunity to try a landscape, with only blue and yellow, on a pastel card.

Trying to render an atmosphere, with only two colors, and without having a picture or a sight in front of you: Forced to simplify, and to make sure your colors are expressive enough.
