#TWIW (This Week in Workouts) Link Up!

By Meplusmytrainer @meplusmytrainer
Well it's Sunday and This Week in Workouts is becoming something I look forward to. I am loving the posts from other bloggers. I really enjoying reading about what workouts everyone is doing. I am definitely getting some great ideas. One thing I want to do this fall is go swimming. I used to swim all the time and I haven't in years. I even have goggles and a swimming cap. I am putting it out there in the hopes that now that I have written it down, it will become real and I will be more likely to make it happen. Anyone want to swim laps with me? :)
As many of you know, I was on a bit of a cross country road trip this past week. I will admit, I didn't always make the greatest food choices, but I did do my best to squeeze in as many workouts as possible. Eating properly on the road is always difficult, especially if you are working long hours and not able to do any kind of meal preparation. I may have indulged on sweet potato fries in Saskatchewan and some Skittles in Manitoba, but hey no one is perfect....right??
If you are a little unsure of what 'This Week in Workouts' is click HERE to see the post from last week and link up. I want to celebrate, motivate and encourage each other. I also created my fall bucket list yesterday, which was a lot of fun. I think I am going to make a bucket list for winter as well, and maybe do a link up so all of my readers can share them. What do you think?
Here we go:
Monday: 30 minute full body strength training and Wicked Wallies
Tuesday: OFF
Wednesday: 60 minute Hot Yoga at Moksha
Thursday: BodyCombat and Wicked Wallies
Friday: OFF
Saturday: Tabata Sprints, Interval Sprints & 15 minutes of core (PlankADay & Wicked Wallies)
Sunday: 1 hour walk with Grando and Wicked Wallies and PlankADay
I had planned to workout with my trainer on Saturday, but his schedule ended up changing so I did my own workout and then this morning the workout I had planned...well we decided today might be one of the last nice days to go for a long walk and hit up the dog park, so we did that instead. I negotiated some planks and wallies in there as well to make it more of a"workout". On Saturday and Sunday it is absolutely clutch for me to workout first thing in the morning, so I can get on to other things! For example, I made homemade Spicy Sweet Potato Soup yesterday! Yum! I will post the recipe on my blog a little bit later today under "It's Yummy in Here". Believe it or not, I had never made soup before. Which is crazy, because it is super easy to do!
Lastly, with Movember fast approaching I couldn't resist buying this Crustache when I was in Winnipeg this week. I have only used it once, but I feel like it is going to come in very handy in November! Thoughts?
#TWIW (This Week in Workouts) Link Up!As for the rest of my Sunday? Well, I usually catch up on my blog reading, watch some football (and post season baseball), prep food for the upcoming  week, laundry, cleaning, run a few errands etc. Or I could spend my afternoon like Grando....
