TV Shows I’m Looking Forward to

Now that work is slowly starting to look a little more sane, I can finally find the time to squeeze in a little TV.

And working perfectly to my schedule, Comedy Central has three family friendly shows (and who can't relate to family comedies, right?) lined up that I would definitely like to check out.

A bonus: all these shows are brand new, which means I don't go into the show already knowing all the plot details and reviews. It makes for a pleasant change to see shows alongside their US releases.

Man with a Plan

Man with a Plan stars my favorite Friends character Matt LeBlanc in a comedy series about a contractor who starts spending more time with his kids when his wife goes back to work and discovers the truth all parents eventually realize: Their little angels are maniacs.

This show sounds like fun, and I've always loved Matt's comic timing in Friends. I can't wait for the show to start on Comedy Central on Saturday, October 29th at 9 PM.

The Detour

Jason Jones who stars as Nate plans an adventure of a lifetime - a road trip from New York to Florida - with his wife, Robin and their rebellious daughter, Delilah and simpleton son, Jared. But the trip that was planned to revive the thrill of living life, soon becomes a nightmare, with one hellish turn after another.

The Detour, a show that has never been seen on Indian televisions before, is all set to première on Comedy Central on Wednesday, 5th October at 10 PM.

Crowded

A newly empty nest couple, Mike and Martine Moore decide to celebrate their newfound freedom only to find their two college-graduate daughters have come back home, unaware of what to do with their lives. Meanwhile, Mike's retired father Bob decides to stay in town with the family, instead of moving to Florida. The family now has to learn to live together again, despite Mike and Martina's reluctance.

This is another family TV show that sounds like it could be really good. I am looking forward to catch this on TV . It's starting on Friday, 14th October at 10:30 PM.

So, what TV serials are you watching now? Any recommendations for me? Any new ones you are looking forward to? Let me know in the comments.

Written in collaboration with Comedy Central.
