Turning Your Smartphone into an Ayurvedic Consultant

Posted on the 20 May 2011 by Healingyoga

Between upgrading my Smartphone and getting the iPad 2, I've been a busy little app buyer. My most recent favorite app is Ayurveda Remedies and Prevention. So far it's gotten me through a cough, sore throat, a few zits, and heartburn. Not bad for $2.99 (a fraction of the cost of a book of Ayurvedic cures).

Now I'm not going to go all legal on you and tell that you this app isn't a substitute for medical care, blah, blah, blah. What I will say is that you're bound to find something helpful in here. The "remedies" are natural and most use ingredients that are fairly easy to find. This has become my go to app. If anything, I just like to try the remedies to see if they have a positive effect.

If you have a Droid and would like to learn more about this app, click here.

If you have an iPhone and would like to learn more about this app, click here.

I have the Droid version and I'm seeing that the iPhone version has an added food and health section. Hmmmm...I might have to download this onto my iPad as well.

Have fun dabbling in the world of Ayurveda!
