Tuesday Tip: Did you know that the time it takes nail polish to dry can vary dramatically by finish type? Glitter and shimmer polishes often dry up to twice as fast as regular creme colors because of the higher concentration of solids. For a beginner, light colored shimmer nail colors are the easiest and most forgiving to apply. But don’t reach for your mother’s shimmer.
