True Blood: “Season 7, Just Start Screamin’,” According to Lauren Bowles!

…After we got those first couple scripts. I thought, “Oh my God, I’m going to spend all season in the saw room.”… Other than your ass getting awful sore from sitting on that floor for so long, we had so much fun. Our first day of filming — with the wonderful Mr. Moyer as our director, by the way — was in that saw room. Carrie and I started laughing because, literally, our first take of the season was just us screaming our little heads off. She turned to me and said, “Season 7, just start screamin’,” so we decided that should be the tagline for the final season.

It took three episodes and a significant body count, but Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) finally roped in enough humans, shifters and vampires to rescue Holly, Arlene (Carrie Preston) and Jane Bodehouse (Patricia Bethune).  Now that they are all safe and sound (albeit completely mentally shaken), will things quieten down in Bon Temps? Lauren say no, but she did hint at the fact that her boyfriend, Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer) may propose before the end of True Blood. Which sounds like a good way to end the show – with a wedding! And, speaking of finales, she had this to say about the end of Season 7 and whether it has complete closure for the show or if there is the possibility of something more:

It’s kind of both. Certain things are wrapped up — like, the final nail is put on the coffin — and for others, you see how certain people’s lives could continue. I keep joking with our showrunner [Brian Buckner] about doing a True Blood movie, and he just looks at me like he wants to kill me. And I just say, “Come on, all the HBO shows are doing it!”

How do you think HBO’s True Blood Season 7 will wrap up? Let us know in the comments below!
