283996_10150277975968563_69144888562_7387521_4486282_nThe stakes are getting higher in Bon Temps with each passing episode and I have some True Blood season 4 spoilers for tonight’s installment “Cold Grey Light of Dawn.” Thanks to Boston Herald’s Love that TV blog we learn that Marnie (Fiona Shaw) is gone, Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) can’t be with Hoyt (Jim Parrack), and Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) don’t restrict their lovemaking to the woods.

First off, Marnie doesn’t live there anymore. That’s right, as we saw in last week’s episode, “I Wish I was the Moon” she took the spirit of Antonia (Paola Turbay) into her body and from now on it seems that she’s calling the shots. This is bad news for the vampires we have come to know and care very dearly for. While there is no question that what happened to Antonia was messed up, do all the vampires really have to die? Apparently they do and she makes a case that even Bill (Stephen Moyer) sees logic in. Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) might be the key to fighting Marnie/Antonia though as he begins to realize his powers.

Speaking of Bill, he has to come up with a plan to save the vampires but what that turns out to be is almost as bad as meeting the sun. Dun Dun Dun!

Elsewhere, Sookie and Eric are having sex all over Bon Temps which doesn’t seem to sit well with Alcide (Joe Manganiello) and Eric decides he doesn’t want his memory back if that means Sookie won’t love him anymore.

Tara (Rutina Wesley) is going to survive being attacked by Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) thanks to something like TMZ. Jessica is going to comes to grips with the reality of relationship with Hoyt while Jason (Ryan Kwanten) still has the hots for her. Sam (Sam Trammell) is going to figure out what Tommy (Marshall Allman) did last episode.

And at the end of the night, one vampire we know can’t resist being called into daylight….

It certainly sounds like things are getting pretty dire. Tell me if you’re excited for Cold Grey Light of Dawn yet in the comments below.
