Sadly True Blood is over for another season but the cast will return to work in November to start filming Season 5. In the meantime, the cast is keeping busy shooting different films that we can enjoy when we can’t get our fix! Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) has signed on to star in Darren Lynn Bousman‘s supernatural flick ‘The Barrens’ which is about the legend of the Jersey Devil. Moyer will play a man who takes his family on a camping trip in the New Jersey Pine Barrens where they encounter a winged creature they believe is the Jersey Devil. Wikipedia describes this legend as:
Legend has it that a whore invoked the devil when giving birth to her 13th child, and at the onset of birth or shortly thereafter, it transformed into the winged creature and flew off into the pines.
Bousman wrote some of the highly popular ‘Saw’ movies and also wrote ‘Mother’s Day’, which Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica Hamby) appeared in. A release date for the film has not yet been set but it is expected to hit theaters in 2012.
