True Blood’s Rutina Wesley to Read For Commonwealth Shakespeare’s ‘Fool For Love’

Tara ThorntonTrue Blood‘s Rutina Wesley is busy appearing in the Off-Broadway show ‘The Submission’ and she has now signed on for a free reading of Sam Shepard’s ‘Fool for Love’.  The play will be presented as part of Commonwealth Shakespeare’s American Voices script in hand series, on November 6th at 7pm at the Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts. 

The play focuses on two lovers, May and Eddie, who meet in a seedy motel in the Mojave Desert and wrestle with the demons of their relationship.

Limited seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  There will be a post-performance wine and hors d’oeuvres reception with the cast and the director for those who purchase a $45 ticket.  All proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit CSC’s 2012 free Shakespeare on the Common production.
