For any UK True Blood fans who were contemplating whether or not to attend the second annual Starfury Vampire Ball, there is now some extra incentive for you. Allan Hyde who plays Godric, Eric‘s maker, will be attending along with Mariana Klaveno, who played Lorena, Bill‘s maker. Hyde attended last year and was once again invited back much to the delight of True Blood fans. Godric has continued to be an extremely popular character even though he met the sun back in Season 2 and has only been appearing in flashbacks. While fans may have disliked Lorena due to her plotting to keep Bill and Sookie apart, Klaveno did a fantastic job making the character one we loved to hate.
The Vampire Ball, presented by Starfury, is a three day convention that celebrates vampires in the media and features shows such as True Blood, Buffy, Angel, Moonlight, Being Human, and Forever Knight. While at the convention you can attend panels with the guests, photo and autograph sessions, parties and more.
