We had 21 teams in on a busy night at Professor Thom's. There was a gathering of folks from Tufts University in the bar a couple of hours before we got going, and there was a fear that Trivia Night might start on time. But that was proven not to be the case, as we started right at the stroke of 9 PM, which is rare indeed.
I made the 1990s Trivia a little too tough, as the scores were lower than I would have thought. But the scores rebounded nicely in The 1-10 Trivia, as most of the scores were 8 or above.
No one got all five correct in IQ Trivia, but six got at least four correct, and one of them was the team that led almost the entire night, the winners The Fighting Squeezers, who ended up with 50 points. Congratulations to them on their first ever Trivia Night win.
Second place went to The Wheel Is Still Turning But The Hamster Is Dead with 47 points, and third place went to We Didn't Start The Fire In That Mosque In Missouri with 45 points.
