Tribute To A Good Ole Country Boy

This will be a short but sentimental post today.  I lost my Father-in law yesterday and the past 24 hours have been filled with  emotions and memories. My Father- in law "Wayne" also know as "Bop" to my children was born on a very large farm in Bedminster NJ. We would be entertained by the many stories of his life on that farm and I admired all of skills he learned from growing up there. That man could just about fix anything and would be there in a minute to build or repair anything we needed. He also had quite the country sense of humor and was always quick with a practical joke. Bop had quite an adventurous life as he learned to find himself along the way. He was a marine, a business man, a father and a wonderful grandfather.  However, I think he will always be a down to earth country boy in my heart.  Yes, we will miss him and I thought it only fitting to post all things country today as those farm house gates in the sky welcome him home.

A favorite photo from about 20 years ago, Bop babysitting our first baby prior to the children! Molly and Bop I hope are resting peacefully together once more.
