Trees in Gunnersbury Park

   Snow has arrived, falling since yesterday. Nothing else to do but to stay home, time to remember the warm lights of the late autumn, walking out of the house, and going down for early walk in the park.  On this day, trees in Ranelagh road were still covered with orange and yellow leaves. Here is a quick watercolor sketch, opening the perspective on St Mary's Church:

      Going down south, one can enter Gunnersbury Park: on the same day, I took pictures of some trees. Early morning sun was shaping greens and oranges on the fence and the bark.    I tried to use pastel to give impression of this moment. I deeply enjoyed doing this painting. Paying almost no attention to details, just letting the arm following the shapes, and getting amused with the light of the colors, drawing around. Here they are:
