I feel overwhelmed with fashion inspiration of a Mediterranean sea vibe! It's all come about after my recent trip to Cannes in the South of France. I am all about travel and holidays right now! Light flowing fabrics next to sun kissed skin, beautiful elegant people, champagne and cocktails - it was divine! However since returning it really made me think about revamping my wardrobe with simple and stylish items.
I love white at the moment especially when you team it with metallic or even throwing a spot of lace in there, it just seems to be the ideal trend for summer travels that keeps us on trend. It's a combination you can truly have so much fun with, so after discovering the recent Romance in White edit from John Lewis I decided to get some inspo from John Lewis also on the blog!
Dressing to work all ways //
The great thing about a white lace dress in the summer, like this one by Alice Temperley is it can work for every social scenario. If you are off for a spot of exploring, you can add John Lewis Kin white classic pumps and a cross over bag, or maybe even sandals like those silver stunners above. Of course evening is easy because you can just change shoes to something with a heel and switch your big silver shopper for a little clutch.
Big fan of this Miss Selfridge gypsy style top and French Connection shorts in my style board above, it looks really cute teamed with white lace shorts. Imagine that with a glowing tan and a cocktail in your hand!? The main thing I love about this trend is that it is so travel friendly, because essentially one or two key pieces can be adapted to create more effortless chic looks for various points of the day.
Are you a fan of the romance in white trend?
