Traditional Mural Meets Contemporary Style!
I LOVE murals! I am partial to them because I use to be a muralist before transitioning into interior decorating. I know that murals seem to have fallen out of favor with those who want a more contemporary style in their home. However, you can still have your cake and eat it too, with murals! The mural should have historic or modern roots in order to have staying power. It has the ability to appear as a great antique being mixed into a modern setting. I chose Steven Gambrel's Room to show the mural mixing perfection. Maybe it's time for some mural amore!
