Tracy Morgan Had To Face His Fears During Filming Of “Fist Fight”

Comedian/actor Tracy Morgan admits that he had to face his fears in his first acting role since he was part of a multi-car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in 2014.  Morgan stars in the comedy film  “Fist Fight” with Ice Cube, and reveals that it was a struggle going from being on a couch for a year and a half to being on a movie set.Tracy MorganI struggled at first because I didn’t know if I had my comedic timing or if my instincts were there, and I was afraid,” he said during an interview with HuffPost.

He continued,

“I had to face my fears. I didn’t know. I was on the couch for a year and three months. I hadn’t been active. So to come back and do that, I had a cast and director around me that supported me and gave me the comfort and love that I needed to move forward. And that’s what I did.”

The comedian added that director Richie Keen and his cast mates were supportive and encouraging along the way.
