Here are this weeks Topshop Weekly Edits. My favorite this week is the 'Oversized Sport Tee' edit. It's so simple yet the monochrome theme makes it quite dramatic, particularly with the figure 86, which just reminds me of basketball. Even though it says it's a tee it appears big enough to work as a dress (or you could just buy one a couple of sizes bigger to make it hang loosely). I'd wear this outfit with bare legs and white ankle socks to break up the monochrome look, but to also add to the sporty look. The classic leather jacket is such a wardrobe staple. It just seems to go with anything and everything and can really add to an outfit. I'm very envious of the Luca Lace Up Peep Platforms featured in 'Motif Tee'. I think the sling back adds a different look to a pair of ankle boots and I still adore this style heel. I think this weeks edits still have a winter element to them, particularly with the greys and blacks, however there are some subtle color pops which hint to Spring/Summer. Saying that, monochrome is very on trend again this year. I still kept a similar look to 'Oversized Sport Tee' in the 'Letter Dress' edit. I love the oversized sweater dresses and think they work great with a classy pair of ankle boots. I particularly like the letter print on this one. The dress featured in the 'Jelly Sandals' edit was featured last week. I wanted to pair the pink and yellow jellies with something plain to make them stand out more, so paired with this white textured shift dress made them the perfect combo. I opted for another edit this week featuring a simple sweater dress - 'Colour Block Wedges'. What is quite a casual day time dress can be reworked for an evening look with the addition of these color block wedges. I love pops of color into plain outfits, and the gray in the shoes tie in, and compliments the dress. The 'Double Denim' edit very much reminds me of Spring/Summer. I know not everyones a fan, but sometimes it works, particularly if you team the right shades of denim together. I love these super high waisted denim jeans. From most of the edits over the past weeks, and in my own personal styling, I seem to have a bit of a thing with dresses and ankle boots. I'm very tempted to buy a pair of Topshops Cut Out Boots in the coming weeks.
Please do let me know if you like these type of edit posts. I'm looking forward to working with some Spring/Summer pieces in the next few weeks.
