Top ten lists are one of the most popular reading materials that internet browsers seek for fun or research. I'm sure you too must have enjoyed going through top ten lists one time or the other. The reason behind the popularity of the top ten lists is that they give us the feeling of getting information about the best in the category. For example, top smartphones with finger print scanner, or top ten most ridiculous things about Indian daily soaps and so on.
I recently came across a website called TopTenGuy.com that hosts just such top ten lists. These are interesting and entertaining lists on diverse topics including celebrities, entertainment and technology. Some of the recent posts that I found on the website were on topics like top ten scary movies, top ten highly popular Game of Thrones characters, Top ten beautiful family movies etc. There are several posts containing mature content like top 10 naked and sexy photos of the celebs. Unsurprisingly, these posts appear to be most popular on website.
The website is very simple and has a clean user interface. Actually, I found it to be a bit too simple. Even the name of the website is not being displayed on it. And there's no way on the website to browse through the posts in categories of your choice. In fact, there's no category button anywhere on the website. The menu only has options of Home, About and Contact. So you can just go through the recent post, or popular post or keep scrolling till you find a post that interests you. However, there is a Search field at the top bar. And by using this Search, it might be possible to reach the category of your choice like entertainment, smartphone, technology etc.
The website is still very new, I think. In future, I'm sure a quicker navigation to categories would be put into place. The articles are quite interesting and fun and are being contributed by different authors. However, I noticed some grammatical and punctuation errors in them. Maybe I'm just being finicky. I'm sure even my posts have several typos that I miss despite several readings. But I'd advice the authors at ToptTenGuy to give a little more care to the editing of posts.
