  • Protein- Arguably one of the most important supplements to have in everyday use is protein. Experts recommend 0.5g per pound of body weight but I personally recommend at least 1 g per pound of bodyweight to promote muscle growth. Some individuals claim that your body can only absorb so much protein but I don’t know if I necessarily find truth in that.I personally recommend the Super Sport High Performance Protein by Cellucor. Contains Whey Protein Isolate for fast absorbing and also Whey protein Hydrolysate which is great for post workout. Some BCAA’s are also included in each serving which is great for recovery. Using promo code ‘nuwave’ you can save 20% off all cellucor products! Which makes it an even better deal!
  • top supplements animal pak
    Multi Vitamin
    - While under valued, I find multivitamins to be the foundation of your supplement stack. I personally go with animal Pakwhich provides everything I need and more in one convenient pack of pills. There’s so much to list on animal pack that it would take me ages to fill it all out so I recommend just clicking the link here to know more about it. While its hard to see the physical changes vitamins provide its on the inside that majority of the good work is being done with vitamins.

Top Supplements: FISH?!

  • Omega 3′s /Fish Oil
    – I just started supplementing this recently but Omega 3′s help to promote cardiovascular health and also joint control which helps a lot when you’re doing heavy lifting or intense physical activity. I use the Omega 3′s by optimal nutrition, doesn’t leave me with any fishy smell or burps which is great. Supplement two capsules twice to three times a day and your set!
  • top supplements c4 extreme
    Pre Workout Supplement
    - I haven’t always been taking pre workouts but within the last year or two I’ve got onto them and it’s made a world of difference in my workouts. Now not everyone needs a pre-workout supplement to have energy and motivation to hit the gym, but it’s recommended as it gives you a jump in energy and endurance. My favorite is C4 Extreme by Cellucor, it contains creatine which is good for my current bulking phase. If you wanted a pre-workout that doesn’t have creatine if you’re trying to lean out for example, you can try NO N-Zero Extreme by Cellucor as well. Which is creatine and sugar free.

  • top supplements amino acids
    Amino Acids
    – Amino acids play a huge role in postworkout recovery supplying your body with the essentials like glutamine, Leucine, iso leucine, and Valine. These branched chain amino acids help to promote muscle repair and recovery so that you’re ready to hit your workout the next day. I use & recommend Scivation X-Tend.
