Isn't it so true? Recently, the Indian Runway Week released its Summer Edition 2016 and the show witnessed some amazing celebrities donning creative summer trends and walking with panache on the ramp.

Flares in all forms:

Flares in skirts, jumpsuits, heavy Lehengas ruled the India Runway Week this time. Flares in all form of Indian, western, fusion wear was seen.

Crop tops in summer bride collection, western wear, crop top in tropical collections or be it Indian textiles. The cloth was surely cropped in number of collections by the designers to make crop tops which are trending this summer to beat the heat as well as add oomph factor.

Cape sleeves are surely a must have in everyone's wardrobe this summer. Cape gowns, cape jumps, cape tops, cape sleeved choli. India Runway Week had designers adding caped sleeves to all sort of collections

Use of traditional textiles and Organic cotton in fusion and western wear:

Traditional Indian Textiles in an all new avatar was a hit at the India Runway Week's ramp. Block prints, Kalamkari, Madhubani, Khadi, Banaras were seen in totally new western cuts, comfortable chic look as well as in summer bride-wear. While organic cotton was seen in a purely fresh style and comfy look.

The India Runway Week ramp glittered all the way with reflection filled mirror work, zardozi work. The use of glitter and glittery work is a must have for those gearing up for a summer wedding, mehendi or sangeet!!
