Top 5 Tablets Under $150 for Kids-collage

My youngest son has always enjoyed playing games on my phone since he was 2 years old. However, I was always worried that he would accidentally dial 911. So far I have been lucky, he hasn’t done that but he will still grab my phone when I am not looking and pick it up. I usually have the screen locked which makes it even easier for him to accidentally dial 911. About a year ago, we decided to purchase him a tablet of his own. It wasn’t very expensive and it works great for him. It is a bit slow but what can you expect when I only paid $25 dollars for it brand new.

Today, I wanted to share with you some tablets that I think would be perfect for kids. All of these tablets are under $150 dollars. I would highly suggest that you protect your investment and add a durable case to protect it in case your child drops it.

Most of these tablets do have Wifi and as a tech mom, you will probably want to disable this feature after you install a few apps for your child. If you leave the Wifi feature enabled, your child has access to the Internet.

As a mom, I am all for my kids learning how to use technology but when they are using the Internet I want to be able to supervise what they are doing so that they aren’t getting into trouble online. I highly suggest that you read my article on social media and children and Internet dangers. Kids are naive and often think that they can’t get into trouble or they may even share too much information about themselves.
