Tomorrow by SR-71.

I loved this song when it first came out. I remember that I couldn’t find it anywhere on the internet (this was before the iTunes store came along) and so I taped it off the radio one night. I’ve always been into those sort of dark-sounding songs, even if it’s just the actual music. Looking back on this song now, the music is still cool but the lyrics are depressing. The line that always stayed with me was in the chorus: I’m not afraid of tomorrow, I’m only of scared of myself.

Tomorrow was released in October of 2002 from the band’s second album of the same name.  It went to #18 on Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks and was also on the nightly countdowns that the local radio stations used to air.

Check it out & see what you think. Above is the official video.
