In the Garden This week:
I have sown into a punnet some seeds we found by Doc's workshop as we didn't know what plant they were from. They will most likely be a weed but it has us curious...
The heat has set the tomatoes ripening!
Tomato TimeI harvest the tomatoes just as they are beginning to colour up...
Tomato Time...with in days they are fully ripe.
Tomato TimeIf left on the vine they tend to sit and either cook in the heat or get badly sunburnt even with shade cover.
Tomato TimeJust as the replacement seeds for the bug eaten Lady Godiva Pumpkins were sprouting one of the original plants rose from destruction! I will plant a couple of new seedlings next to this one.
Tomato TimeThe Butternut Lettuces that grew so well in the pathway have produced lots of seed that I have been scattering around the Kitchen Garden.
Tomato TimeThe Dwarf Sunflowers are flowering!
