Welcome to my weekly post, where I sum-up what I’ve been up to in bookland the past week.

Hey Blog-friends, I’m back! I’m still not back to a full schedule but I really wanted to start getting back into the swing of things.

I’ve moved house! It’s strange after so many years where I was…but it’s good, and my journey to work is soooooooo much better. I’m still uber busy trying to clean my old flat (which I hand over at the end of the month) and unpacking in my new place, but I’m sure I can find time to get some posts out as I’m really behind.

I never intended to abandon this meme during my downtime, but life just got in the way – plus, I haven’t had time to read much😦 Anyway, I’m back now, so here’s what I’ve managed to get through in the last few weeks…

Now: The Seeing Stone ~ Kevin Crossley-Holland

This has been sitting on my TBR shelf for about five years! I love Arthurian stories but it hasn’t lived up my expectations yet. I’m only about 1/3 of the way in though, and after five years I think I should persevere.

Then: Shadow and Bone  ~ Leigh Bardugo

I enjoyed this a lot, just like everyone (mainly Chrissi) said I would so thanks for that. I’ll have to buy the trilogy now won’t I!? The book I read before that was And I Darken which I still haven’t reviewed because I’m naughty, LOL. It will be my first review up when I’m back on my blogging feet though, promise.

Next: ???

I’m surprisingly not too behind on ARCs which is good, but I think I’ll make  start on the August releases anyway. The first one is When Everything Feels Like the Movies by Raziel Reid. It’s out August 4th.

That’s all for this week – I’ll be back to my longer version next month.
