This “Smart Pill” is Actually a RARE Type of B Vitamin!

By Jamie Koonce @charcuterielove

A rare nutrient found in only a few different foods such as green tea, natto, and potatoes was discovered in 1979.  More recently, scientists have determined that this nutrient is actually a vitamin (particularly a unique type of B vitamin).  It is 5,000 times more potent than vitamin C at scavenging free radicals, and it protects the brain from developing amyloid plaques associated with Alzheimer’s disease.  Research suggests that it plays an important role in preventing cognitive decline that usually begins as early as your 40′s.  Learn more about this little known nutrient here.
