Thirteen Weeks

Thirteen Weeks
How far along? Thirteen weeks and six days.

Baby's size? Baby is the size of a Matchbox car this week.

Baby's nickname? We have been referring to the baby as "baby". Maternity clothes? Not yet. Exercise? I've been way more active the last three days. I can slowly feel my energy coming back to me and I'm very excited about it.

Sleep: I'm still sleeping a lot but I am staying awake a little later at night. More like closer to 10 than 9. I'm still getting eight hours of sleep each night though.

Best moment this week: Hearing the baby's heartbeat for the first time.

Miss anything? Pizza. Now that I can't eat it anymore. I'll explain in a moment.

Movement: I've felt movement in my stomach but I have no idea if it's the baby at this point. Might just be all of my organs moving around, making room for the baby.
Food cravings: Nutty Bars, which are now called Nutty Buddy's.

Anything making you queasy or sick: I was incredibly sick on Saturday night, the most sick I've been my entire pregnancy. I ate meat lovers pizza at my niece's birthday party. Right away I started feeling a little off. We were going to go to my in-law's house after and I ended up telling my husband I was starting to get tired. I'm so glad we went straight home. I was laying on the couch complaining to my husband that I felt incredibly full and my insides were on fire. He grabbed me some tums and I gagged when I put them in my mouth. A few minutes later I was puking my guts out. I felt so much better after I got it all out. I knew the pizza wasn't bad because my husband ate it too and he was fine. I texted my friend, otherwise known as my pregnancy encyclopedia and on call doctor, and she said that most likely it was acid reflux. Tomatoes are a major trigger. My husband says I can't eat pizza anymore during my pregnancy.
Gender: I have a strong feeling that it's a boy. My mom and I were watching something on her DVR and when it ended it went to a show on TV and the first thing we heard was "Stephen and Heather's baby boy". My mom and I looked at each other and we both asked each other, "Was that a sign?" I was already feeling boy long before this though.

Symptoms: Other than headaches and a bad case of acid reflux, I haven't had any other symptoms. Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy most of the time. Saturday night was the exception.

Looking forward to: Finding out if Baby Meyer is a boy or a girl.
